Community Relay – Bags to Dishes Challenge

We’re excited to launch our new Community Relay – Bags to Dishes Challenge at Angels Community Outreach. Here’s how it works: pick a recipe, fill a Ziplock bag with the nonperishable items needed to make that dish, and drop it off at Angels Community Outreach Food Pantry 334 S. Broadway Pitman, NJ 08071. If you don’t live local to us, find a food pantry in your area to drop off to. I’m sure they would greatly appreciate it. We will add different recipes each month. This is a fantastic service project for individuals, families, or coworkers to do together, whether at home or at work. It’s an easy and meaningful way to get involved in the community and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Take your child or grandkids to the food store and let them pick out all the items needed for the recipe, assemble them and drop off.

Many senior citizens are struggling financially, and families now have kids out of school for the summer, increasing the need for nutritious meals. Your contributions will be distributed during our weekly food distributions, helping to provide a hand up to those in need this summer.

Together, we can fight food insecurity and ensure that everyone in our community has access to healthy meals. Let’s make a difference, one recipe at a time!
