Hi, The Santa for Seniors Program is now closed for 2023. We are excited to surprise some seniors and Veterans!
Let’s spread some Christmas Kindness with our SANTA FOR SENIORS Outreach Program. We want to make this Christmas special for some of our local Veterans and Senior Citizens, our greatest generation. This program is not income based. We just want to show kindness, warm hearts and make some seniors SMILE!
If YOU want to be SANTA to a senior citizen, STAY TUNED!
We are looking for “WISH-LISTS” from local senior citizens or Veterans. We would like to try and fulfill their wishes with their favorites… maybe coffee, snacks, bathrobe, new sweater etc. Or maybe they are in need of a larger item like a new TV, microwave, vacuum cleaner etc.
We will deliver these gifts the week of Christmas.
Many senior citizens spend the holidays at home alone because they are shut in due to health or age, have limited contact with family/friends or have no family.
As people age, sometimes they lose their independence. They are not able drive to get those daily items we enjoy. Simple things are not easily obtainable. We would like to change that!
If you have a Veteran senior citizen in mind, please nominate them below. YES, you can nominate yourself.
I have read over some of the Santa Wish-Lists that have been submitted by senior citizens and they ask for very little. Some need sheets, household items, socks, personal care items, shirts, bath towels, blanket, a comforter, pajamas, slippers, small appliances, postage stamps or puzzle books. I am saddened to see so many seniors ask for Gift Cards to CVS, Rite Aid Etc. so they can but their medicine. For some, these gifts are the only gifts they will receive this year.
