All appointments are in-person and are located at our facility: 334 South Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071. At this appointment one of our “Angels” will help you.
Just a reminder that have some guidelines. Please be sure to bring the following with you to your appointment:
•Referral Letter – This can be from social services, pastor, school, doctor, etc. It is a letter referring you to our program. In the referral letter your name and everyone in your household should be listed.
•Bill with your current address
If you do not have a referral letter, you will need to bring in the following:
•Bill with your current address on it.
•Proof of income – if you are working this would be your last 2 pay stubs
•Food Stamp Card – if you receive food stamps
•State Insurance Health Benefit Card – if you are receiving state health insurance
•Birth Certificates or Social Security Cards for any children in your family
Please note: We go through this process to ensure our donors that the clients coming in for help genuinely need assistance. Unfortunately, Angels Community Outreach has experienced a high-volume of individuals who are attempting to scam the system or go from agency to agency. We also found some clients were re-selling the clothing and items they received at Angels Community Outreach, which is against our policy. Because of this, we have become stricter in our application process. Our mission has always been (and continues to be) providing a hand UP to those in need. Do not hesitate to reach out – we’re here to lend a helping hand!
