Help a Teen in need attend Prom. Angels Community Outreach is hosting a Prom Event Sunday April 14th for guys and girls financially in need. When prom arrives, not every teen has the money to buy a gown, rent a tux or event purchase the ticket to attend. Our Prom Outreach will ensure teens will be able to enjoy their special night in style. This year we will be helping a smaller group of teens but helping them with the “full package“. You can give a girl a dress or rent a young man a tux but without funds to purchase the ticket they still can not attend their special night. We want to really pay attention to details and make sure each teen has everything they need to attend their prom. This could be something as simple as a pair of black dress socks, a strapless bra or a gift card to get their hair done.

I want these teens to have to same opportunities and excitement as their peers.

HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN HELP-

  • Donate a Prom, Bridesmaid or Special Occasion Dress. We will have all the dresses displayed so the girls can choose a dress for their special night!
  • Make a financial donation in any amount towards prom for a teen in need. These collected funds will help us purchase needed items for the teens such as Prom tickets, strapless bra, tux rental etc.

Or pick an item up and drop off during any of our regular hours.

We will have an area set up where the girls can pick out jewelry, makeup, purses, toiletries etc.

  • Donate a gift card to a local hair salon so a young girl can get an updo for Prom. (Please keep in mind the cost of an updo when donating a gift card. Many of these teens will not have money to put toward the cost of the service.)
  • Donate a gift card to a local Barber Shop so a young man can get his hair cut.

Drop off hours: Tue, Wed and Sat 9am-12noon.
